PPowertrainFuel Injector Group C Supply Voltage Circuit/Open
What does this code mean?
Severity : HighP2152 indicates an open supply circuit or abnormal voltage on fuel injector group "C". On some engines the control module powers the injectors in groups. If one group loses its supply, several cylinders may stop receiving fuel. The engine may then run very roughly or not at all.
Symptoms
- Check engine light on or flashing.
- Misfires on several cylinders.
- Major loss of power or limp mode.
- Hard starting or stalling.
Possible causes
- Open or damaged injector supply wiring.
- Corroded or unplugged injector connector.
- Failed supply fuse or relay.
- Shorted injector affecting the whole group.
- Faulty ECU driver stage.
Diagnosis and repair
- Identify the injectors in group "C" from factory information.
- Check the injector supply fuses and relays.
- Inspect the connectors and wiring for this group.
- Measure supply voltage and resistance of each injector.
- Repair the wiring or replace the faulty injector, then clear the code and road test.
