Stage 1 — Engine optimization
Stage 1 is the most requested optimization by tuners. It consists of reprogramming the engine control unit to fully exploit the potential of the original powertrain. The result: a more responsive vehicle, with better torque delivery and a more enjoyable driving experience — all without any mechanical intervention. Compatible with most turbo diesel and petrol vehicles.
DPF Off — Diesel Particulate Filter removal
The diesel particulate filter (DPF) clogs over time, causing frequent regenerations, increased fuel consumption, and limp mode activations. Software removal disables DPF management in the ECU: no more forced regenerations, no more related fault codes. The vehicle returns to smooth and reliable operation. Ideal after physical filter removal or when dealing with a failing DPF.
EGR Off — Exhaust Gas Recirculation removal
The EGR valve recirculates part of the exhaust gases back into the intake to reduce NOx emissions. Over time, it becomes clogged and causes power loss, hesitation, and check engine lights. Software removal completely disables EGR management in the ECU, with no residual fault codes. Compatible with keeping the valve in place (software-only deactivation) or after physical removal.
AdBlue/SCR Off
The AdBlue/SCR system injects urea into exhaust gases to reduce NOx emissions. System failures (NOx sensors, pump, tank heater) are frequent and expensive. Software removal disables the entire SCR module in the ECU, eliminating warning messages, countdown-to-lockout timers, and associated fault codes. The vehicle operates normally without AdBlue.
E85 Conversion — Bioethanol
Bioethanol (E85) is a fuel up to 50% cheaper than regular unleaded, with a higher octane rating. Conversion through ECU remapping adapts the calibration for reliable E85 use: optimized cold start, adjusted air/fuel mixture, and compatibility with the fuel system materials. The result is significant savings at the pump, often with a slight power gain thanks to the higher octane rating.
